This colorful authentic design has taken it’s beginning from small paintings on wood, that exposed in Moscow Museum of East. Those pieces of wood plaques decorated a house in Akhty village in Dagestan, dated 1816. Saving this culture and history, with respect to traditional art, all details and personages were repeated by designer in the same naive, simple manner, the very first artist saw them.
Colors selected are similar to main palette used to create those small wooden plaques on house in faraway mountain village.
This scarf is updated from initial design to keep the very first edition unique.
